WHAT IS SHOOT MO BETTA?
Are you new to shooting? Are you finding yourself at a plateau? Do you want to get to the next level of competition but can’t seem to get there? What skills do you need to understand and strengthen to improve? No matter what your current skill level is, I can make you Shoot Mo Betta!
Shoot Mo Betta provides handgun shooting lessons through Personalized Performance Coaching. What this means is that the sessions are focused solely on you, allowing constant tweaking and feedback throughout the session, maximizing your understanding and skill progression.
My approach is to first learn what skills/knowledge you have, then the skills/knowledge you would like to gain. After analyzing several of your videos, a structured personalized performance class plan for your session(s) would be put together. My end goal for you would be to have you gain a deep understanding of the elements required for the skill you want to master, and throughout the lesson teach you more as I see opportunities. We will do this in a comfortable environment, using video reviews , discussions to deepen understanding, and drills to instill the skill.
Group lessons are great to obtain exposure to skills. Private lessons are the best way to accelerate your skill development. The lesson will focus on what skills YOU need to perform at a higher level with constant feedback throughout the session.
In-Person and Remote sessions are available.

ABOUT ME
Hi, my name is Glen Wong. I was born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii, where I earned by Masters degree in Electrical Engineering. After working for Motorola in Arizona for 20 years, I opened a martial arts school where I taught Jhoon Rhee Tae Kwon Do and Hapkido. It is here that I learned that my true passion was working with people and helping them to succeed. In my martial arts career, I earned the following black belt degrees: 3rd degree in Jhoon Rhee Tae Kwon Do, 3rd Degree in International Tae Kwon Do Federation, and 1st degree in Hapkido. I am also in the Martial Arts Hall of Fame.
After 8 years of running my own martial arts school, my wife and I moved to St. George Utah in 2013. I became actively involved at the local shooting range, the Southern Utah Practical Shooting Range (SUPS). At SUPS, I serve as President and am heavily involved in running our monthly and major matches. I started coaching Jalise and Justine Williams in 2014, when they were 11 and 10 year old respectively. With my guidance, they are dominant females in our sport. Jalise and Justine hold more than 25 Nationals each and several World titles. They also crush the hopes and dreams of men.
In 2014, I was a graduate of the first Tactical Performance Center instructor class and was a lead instructor at TPC thru 2019. I formulated the multi-day class plans, conduct the classroom and range instruction which includes live fire drills and demonstrations. I taught both Handgun Mastery and Competition Mastery Courses.
I am currently a USPSA Master Class shooter in Limited and Production, and currently hold A class in Limited Optics, Open, Lim 10, and Single Stack. My shoot schedule includes traveling to major matches both within and out of state. I normally place well, winning High Senior in my division that I shoot in.
As a teacher for over 27 years, and having leadership positions throughout my adult career, I have learned how to communicate effectively with people to make them the best that they can be.
